What was your inspiration?
Cradle was given by a friend. Too boyish. Used fabric from The CoCo & Co Melanie Monkey to match crib and baby's bedroom.
What are you most proud of?
I was able to incorporate the original fabric, ie, the hood, inside of pleats, and bottom ruffle. Yet it all tied in with the patterns in the purchased Crib set.The results have made the Momma to be (my niece) very happy.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Plan it out with a theme in mind. I used sewing and liquid sewing. Measure and keep all receipts. Needed to return unopened cafe curtain. Also, trim, ribbon and buttons.
