I am also a textile artist so I am not new to colour, however this was a very useful exercise. I found that both the binder and white bring the colour forward, blocking out the page. The binder adds a warm 'yellowish' tinge to the original colour, whereas the white - a cooler dusty film. The solvent introduces an 'oil pastel' feel to the colour block, but often, I found it to be similar to the blender. Fascinating! I have a collection of greys - 10% to 90%. I had to try these and it was easy as Prismacolor states right on the pencils which greys are warm v. cool. I compared 20%, 50% and 70%.

Terrific. As a textile artist you might want to use this grid as a reference for any colors you use.
