Not really special instructions. It's a pattern that is perfect for beginners. The table runner looks like you worked hard but it easily goes together with precuts (and less than a dozen of them). If you can sew a straight 1/4 inch seam - this one will be a cinch.Depending on your fabric choices, you can have a totally scrappy look or a classic look.

Several Jelly Roll strips - I haven't quilted this yet - still need to get my borders, backing and binding. I just wanted to share photos of my design.in different fabrics.
What was your inspiration?
It's like a checkerboard - I saw something similar on a magazine site and figured out how to make it using jelly roll strips.
What are you most proud of?
I like how the top turned out - once I get it completed (I'll post a photo when it's done). I'm happy with how it looks and it's something I created from a concept to an (almost) finished item.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
