Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Red velvet cake with cream cheese icing filling and fruit. Covered in marshmallow fondant and modeling chocolate ruffles. White sugar pearl border and accents.

What are you most proud of? While not everything is symmetrical and the fruit filling made the cake sit unevenly, after all was said and done I still think the cake turned out beautifully.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? DON'T USE WHOLE FRUIT TO FILL YOUR CAKES! Blueberries and blackberries taste great, but when they're whole, they make it impossible to rest your top layer evenly. Macerate your berries.
