Sure . I used a 2 D tip to create the rosettes. In this picture I used cream cheese icing but you can also use buttercream.

I have used the 1M tip do you prefer the 2D and if so why? just curious...I am actually doing a cake similar to this for a birthday tomorrow...

Hey... For some reason I think the 2D has a softer effect than the 1M. I've used both and I tend to always go back to the 2D. Send me a picture of your finished project.
