I found the instructions a bit confusing. So, I just basically eyeballed the pictures and cut the fabric to my own specifications.

What was your inspiration?

The pattern itself but I wasn't crazy about the flower attached to the front of the bag.

What are you most proud of?

I surprised that it came out as well as it did considering that I ignored the instructions because they were a bit confusing. That and the fact that my principal at work loved the gift. I made it specifically for her birthday.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Check out the instructions included with the pattern very carefully. Who knows? You may be able to make more sense of the darned things. I know I couldn't.
