I used a vintage commercial pattern, you could use any poncho pattern for this. I modified it for a lining, I wanted it warmer & I wanted that beautiful silky fur to spill out of the hood.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
It's easy for tots to get overheated in the car. These prevent that and are car-seat friendly.
What are you most proud of?
I like that these can be handed down from sib to sib whether it's a sis or a bro.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The silky fleece can be very difficult to work with and it gets all over everything. It does not shed, however, after it's sewn together. And make it large.
