You are so kind to remark on this! The design is so active I probably won't do much creative quilting on it..but you never know. Some of those secondary patterns might be fun to highlight with some quilting.

Really spectacular! This is how I envisioned my pineapple as a combination of batiks and nearly solids, but I couldn't see how it would work in my minds eye. Now I see it! Thank you for posting. What a wonderful heirloom this will be.
