What was your inspiration?

Novita published a 30 pattern nothing but socks pattern book last month, I'm knitting through it fast and furiously. These were just too cute to pass by

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

The honeycomb pattern looks complicated, but it really is not. However, there is a mistake I made in setting the pattern up on the needles, so you have to pay detailed attention to the division of stitches (not that you can see where the mistake is nor would it really make a difference when wearing them). I will try these again, with slightly larger needles, and now with the knowledge of understanding the pattern better.
