Red Merino & SIlk Hoodie

Make It

This project was made from an independent Craftsy designer's pattern:
Top Down Hoodie with Cable Infants »

Instructions

Very easy. You start at the top of the hood and knit down as far as where the sleeves are divided from the body. At this point you are almost there. Just finish the body and each sleeve and you won't have any sewing or finishing left to do but the seam at the top of the hood.
You can download the pattern here at Craftsy. The Link is above.
Make it extra special with handspun yarn

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Clothing

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Traditional, Casual, Outdoorsy, Classic, Retro / Vintage

Materials

My handspun yarn - Merino Wool and Silk Blend. The 18-24 months takes about 14 oz or 645 yds of Worsted Weight yarn.

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to design a simple hoodie with nice details that could be knit without any sewing afterward. You've gotta love it! I am working on writing up these patterns but it might take me a while as I have to knit them all again a few more time to make sure it's all correct and easy to follow. I will also be taking lots of photos so that you can follow along visually.

Love it! I'll make a few once you sort out your pattern. Soooo much cuter than a sweatshirt!
