What are you most proud of? This was the first time I've ever sewn a sheath dress. I was a little nervous, so I made a muslin first and did a lot of pattern alterations along the way. I learned so much about altering patterns for fit from this project.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make a muslin first. This is a style that will look most flattering if it fits you well. Great for girls with curves!

You just inspired me to order this pattern, hope I can make it look as good as you do!

Your dress is great. I, too, love the Madmen look. I have made this pattern and love it. However, I don't have any curves -- but it is a very flattering style!

Thanks Cissie. I'd love to see your version of this dress. I agree, it's really flattering on an array of body types.

Kir, This is very random, I'm a seamstress by night but I staff marketing and advertising professionals by day. I have a client in need of a seamstress here in Denver for a couple week, full time project. Any interest in hearing about it? If so, email me at kate.ortman at creativegroup.com. Cheers!
