What was your inspiration?

I wanted to add some color to my boots! One reason was of course the splash of bright red, but another reason was that the top of the boot was rubbing against my leg and I wanted to protect my skin with something soft.

What are you most proud of?

I improvised this design after trying to work with a knitting pattern (I don't knit very often...) and am very happy with how it came out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

If you have never worked with front post / back post stitches before, do a test swatch of regular basketweave to practice.
