Materials

This is a bag I made using my Bits and Bites pattern, it is made with hoffman batiks. The lining is 100% cotton, and it is stiffened with fusible pellon. It has a magnetic snap enclosure. The quilting is meandoring with blendable threads. It is for sale on Etsy.

What was your inspiration?

I once had a bag this size, I really do not like a giant bag, so I deceided to design one that I would like.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud that people enjoy my patterns.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't waste the strips, and work with all the colours that you have, not only your favorite ones. Don't get too hung up, just grab the strips randomly.
