Instructions
I trim the design down to have a 1" border around. Then I sew fabrics to each side and top/bottom framing the design. You can add more strips or cut squares to make the piece larger to make a pillow cover. Measure the front design piece to your pillow. Keep adding pieces until it is the same size as the pillow. What are you most proud of?
I like how the colors went together - the flosses and fabric.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Experiment with different fabrics and shapes putting the patchwork pillow together. A square pillow is an easy shape to begin with.
