What was your inspiration?

I just love those cute buildings (there are a lot of farms where I live) and I wanted to create a building block for a Farm set of blocks, something that could be nice with some farm animals.

What are you most proud of?

This fabric I have found for the sky : now there is a raccoon on the roof of my barn! And I do not mind the carrots and mushrooms all arround :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

No particular advice, it is a very easy block, good for beginners. It is versatile and can be part of a country lap quilt as well as a children quilt with farm animals, or a farm wall hanging. A layout with 12 or 20 red barns made from scraps is also beautiful ( like a traditional school's quilt). Just have fun!
