What materials did you use? 100% cottons

What are you most proud of? How well it turned out, considering that I couldn't find what I envisioned to be the 'perfect' fabric. What I did find has managed to work together quite well, and the end result is something that makes me smile!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't get locked into that mindset that doesn't allow you to see the potential of various combinations of fabrics. Go for it, every quilt is a unique work of art.

Are you allowed to share pattern instructions or the name of the magazine you found it in? I have almost every blueberry fabric known to man in my stash and can envision them in this quilt pattern!

Can't see why not, it is the McCall's Quilting issue Jan/Feb 2010 - so I guess not that old, but I found it in a 'sale' pile of magazines. I think this would look awesome in greens, and I want to try one in blues too.

I just love this pattern and I want to make it, one in Red And one in Purple.

never thought of purple! I am going to make a green one, and a blue one.... one of these days
