What was your inspiration?

I think i was wanting high contrast while toning down my color choices. I always have multicolored prints and this quilt only had a few colors.

What are you most proud of?

I really went crazy with the quilting on this project. I started with pebbles but then realized "I don't want to quilt pebbles on the whole quilt so I drew circles of different sizes on the quilt and pebbled in those outlines and then outlined those circles. I really like how well it turned out. I have been practicing alot of quilting designs from Angela Walter's books and it has shifted how i think of quilting.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a fun project to relax your brain from thinking and calculating and following a pattern. I hear alot of people say "I can't sew." Quilting is sort of different. If you attempt it in a devil may care way you never know. Seam rippers exist for a reason!
