Enjoying Robs guidance on this subject. Actually, enjoy Intimate Landscapes, but didn't know it was its own subject. Great!

This is an interesting photo of a flower and its setting. You have clearly isolated the flower so it shows up well, plus you have given us a feeling for the distinctive location. A challenge for you is the centered flower. Centered subjects rarely give as strong a composition as a subject that is out of the center. Viewers tend to see the subject in the center and little else simply because when it is centered, viewers think they have seen what is important (because that is what you are implying) and move on. When the subject is out of the center, you encourage the viewer to stay and look at relationships between the subject and the rest of the image. There has to be a very good reason for a subject to be centered and the rest of the image has to support that.
