This should fit my granddaughter next fall. She will be a year late November. I picked up stitches and added an inch or so of garter stitch to the sleeves and finished with a couple of inches of ribbing. Edging around the fronts and neckline is single crochet with a loop for a single button.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
Our knitting group decided to make these sweaters together. I have probably made well over a dozen Baby Surprise Jackets over the past few years. I love it every time! Such a fun project!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't over think it! The instructions are pretty terse.
