Old sweaters, t-shirts and recycled cloth, poly stuffing, DMC thread. Scissors, needle, pins, sewing machine.
What was your inspiration?
I'm an artist. I love to draw comics and children's stories. I have been doodling this wee pal for years. I was cleaning out my winter sweaters and wanted to do some sewing and just created my drawing in fabric!
What are you most proud of?
How whimsical and full of personality my creation seems to have!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure to sample sew your materials first, to see if they will give when stuffing. Also, having fray check on hand helps reduce the unraveling old knit sweater sometimes do.
