What was your source for this garden project? Improvisational

What materials did you use? Recycled glass beads and medallions and hand cast metal beads -- all from Ghana.

What are you most proud of? I just think it is simple and pretty and I am glad I found a way to use these beautiful glass and metal beads!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try to find recycled items. I am planning on doing another using recycled metal I cut and sand with a Dremel tool. Beading randomly adds to the simplicity. I used strong waxed cotton thread (doubled) as the sun will destroy plastic or acrylic thread and the cotton thread does not stretch as much (the beads are quite heavy).

Would you like one in your garden? I am trying to find smaller crafts that the vulnerable women where I live can craft and sell to make a bit of money. Even a little bit of income makes a high difference for the women I am working with here in Zambia.
