Instructions

Any 2 worsted-weight yarns would probably work. I only attached the beads to the even (outside) rows. This basket ends up rather heavy! The instructions are really well written, and the recycled CD inside makes it super-sturdy!

Difficulty:

Category: Crocheting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Cute, Eco-Friendly, Mod, Funky, Whimsical, Casual

Materials

Stash yarn baby! A blue/brown soft yarn and a shades-of-brown variegated Red Heart yarn. Worsted weight. Plus, about 100 pony beads (from Wal-mart) in clear, light & dark blue.

What was your inspiration?

I needed a gift for my manicurist, and I wanted to make this pattern.

What are you most proud of?

The way the colors came out; blending 2 variegated yarns doesn't always work well, but this did.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Follow the pattern exactly!
