What was your inspiration?
My mother had always frowned upon my sewing. So when she started showing interest in my handmade bags, I immediately seized the opportunity to impress her. She described the kind of bags she liked which was basically a shoulder bag with a top zipper. She didn't want the bag to be too big but it had to have room for an umbrella!
What are you most proud of?
That many women have managed to make zippered bags using this simple tutorial.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take it slow when installing the zipper.
