What was your inspiration?
I put this tutorial together for Craft Hope and the Konbit Sante project. Our craft group donated about 50 birthing kits and you can see the huge stack of receiving blankets we made. In addition to being a great charity item, they make nice additions to baby shower gifts.
What are you most proud of?
This tutorial will make a blanket sized for swaddling. Most receiving blankets you buy from the store are sized 30"x30" which is not ideal for swaddling.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make some to donate to your local hospital, woman's shelter, etc.
