The pattern called for 7 colors but I decided to use 4 instead. I knit the first 3 colors and used white as the "middle" and worked my way back out again.Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
A close friend of mine was having her first baby and I wanted to give her something special to show how much I care about her.
What are you most proud of?
This was not only my first knit baby blanket, but my first knitting project period, and it turned out really well.
