What materials did you use? I used light blue cotton fabric, beige oil pastel stick, black sharpie marker, black, brown, blue, white, and red colored pencils. Black and blue prismacolor brush tip marker, white out, batting scraps with various lofts and brands, black and blue thread 40wt poly, and beads.

What are you most proud of? I am proud of the fact that I did this piece in only four hours of time. Piece is 8 x 10 which I call a journal page. This is one of sizes I use when I am playing. Come join me in my Thread Art Class here on Craftsy and play with me. Warming: It is addictive.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? My advice is as always.....have fun...and do not forget to work on some type of art daily. I really need to take the last part of this advice and lock it into my

I came home from work today and went straight to the studio need to finish my peace. And this project is definitely giving me peace. Thanks for doing this class I'm looking forward to a lot more.

Iam interested how you did the hair. Is the dark part sewing ? I am working on the hair of My granddaughters piece and I wanted to know how to emphasize the color. I am having fun doing this class.

Great illusion of texture.

Yes, there is great illusion of texture. You can feel the hair coming off and away for t[he background. Stunning!!!!
