sorry my phone wouldnt let me comment and im currently suffering no internet at a friends, i just went to ravelry.com and typed in star pattern, and kind of adapted it a little so that the star would be more pointed on the inward points by skipping a cluster there.

about how big is this? What are the measurements from one point to the middle? My boyfriend is a HUGE cowboys fan so I'm wandering if I could make this for his "man cave" as a small area rug.

it really depends on how big you want to make it. mine is a little less than three feet to the middle from a point. hope this helps!!!
