What materials did you use? Cotton Fabric and 80/20 cotton- poly Batting I bought on a trip to the USA, plus a hand-dyed piece of fabric given to me by a quilting friend. It's a classic design with a modern, casual twist...

What are you most proud of? The final outcome is what I expected to be. I ran short of the hand-dyed fabric, so I cut some of the diamonds out of the background gabric, and used fabric paint to add a printed look in order that they did not jut out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? keep on trying displays till you are happy with one, and then stick with it.

Great job! I love the quilting 'rays' coming out from the corners. Lovely colours too - the sage green is perfect with the mauves.
