Seeing this blanket put my to tears, thinking of my old rainbow blanket hand made for me by my Great Great grandmother who died two months before I could ever meet her. I now have three daughters of my own and have been unable to decide on what pattern I should use for one for them. I think I have found it. The symphony of colors and the energy put into every stitch is exactly what I want to pass to my kinder. I was wondering though, if you knew of where I could learn the stitch by words and pictures instead of the video. My computer really can't handle YouTube on the best of days. I thank you in advance for any assistance you can give and congratulations on the most magnificent blanket I have -ever- seen.

You are so kind and I competely understand what you mean when you talk about the emotional connection to something handmade by a beloved ancestor. Nothing compares to that sense of connection and family. I will look for a place with pics, in the meantime, I was going to write up a pattern for this exact blanket. I want to include pictures ofthe stitch, along with a list of yarns that will provide the same color effect seen here. I don't know if you need it right away, but I have it planned for the next couple of months. In the meantime, I'll look for something to help you out. Thank you again, Charissa
