What materials did you use? Jelly Roll (rainbow colours) and then co-ordinating cut strips of Star fabric (rather than solid jelly rolls) in 100% Cotton

What are you most proud of? The colour combination just feels so uplifting and I hope she feels comfort in her recovery

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Double check the jelly roll sizing as my 2.5" inches turned out to be 2.75" and caused havoc with my seams when using a non-jelly roll co-ordinating fabric.

Such a wonderful story [not the cancer part, but your thoughtfulness and love for your friend]. This is an awesome quilt, and I am sure your friend will snuggle with it for years to come and definitely find some comfort in it from such a terrible ordeal. I also really like that everything on it means something. Really, really great job.

What a wonderfully sweet and thoughtful gift for your friend! So many turn away when faced with a friend with serious health issues. The quilt is beautiful and your thoughtfulness will be enormously appreciated. I wish your friend well and hope she has a complete and quick recovery. Glad you're there for her.
