Felt, cotton fabric, bondaweb, wadding, thread and embroidery thread.

What are you most proud of?

I think my owls look great as a group. I really like there bright colours, and cheerful little tummies.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I like hand sewing, and think the embroidered blanket stitch give the owls a lovely handmade, homey look. So I would not embark on an owl unless you are quite nifty with your needle. But because the basic structure is machine sewn, and I think this will make the owls durable.
