Here are some details about my project:

What materials did you use? Random scrap charm squares in rainbow colors with kona white and Robert Kauffman spot on white background.

What are you most proud of? I was very pleased with the gentle curve quilting. I didn't actually use my walking foot ( I free motioned all of it) but the gentle curves and concentric circles with the walking foot in Jaquie Gerings class were my quilting inspiration. I would have used my walking foot but I wanted the circles to go behind the piecing of the triangles.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I wish I would have drawn out the lines or at least I few guidelines first. If you look closely ( or not so closely) you can really pick up all of my mistakes.

such a clever design, i like the binding too, the quilting really complements the design

Thanks so much susany! I love a scrap binding, I'm a bit of a fabric saver. ;)

at the price of fabric who wouldn't save every bit? This is especially true now that I am dyeing and printing my own fabric - just don't want to waste a tiny sliver!

This is a wonderful quilt! I find I like your backs as much as the fronts! Nicely done BrandiB! I'm looking forward to this class :D

Thank you Jean. Honestly sometimes I end up liking the back better than the front. I have fun with improve and making all those left over pieces work together.

I want to make one of these so badly! But we can't all be sitting around drawing it on grid paper to get the layout right. Do you know the name and designer of the pattern, so I can buy it? Yours is beautiful and I love the layout too. Congratulations!

This is Camille Roskelley's round and round. I changed it quite a bit but the changes I made are easy to figure and you may like the original pattern even better.
