What are you most proud of? lots of stretching involved in this one to get everything to line up... I'm pretty amazed it came out so well. I just love the cinnibun quilting pattern, it contrasts so well with the blocks. (I got it quilted thorough Missouri Star.)
What advice would you give someone starting this project? HERE IS THE PATTERN: http://blog.missouriquiltco.com/awesome-and-free-falls-quilt-pattern/ You have to be VERY CAREFUL cutting the long pieces (darkest border of the squares) because you just barely have enough; like, start right up on the selvage line, or even put the selvage in your 1/4" allowance. If you mess up cutting the other pieces though, it's okay; you are going to have a bunch left over for the binding. If you mess up a lot you might have to forego the colorful binding, though. Also, color selection is key here. Lay everything out and match up the color ways!
