What was your inspiration?
I wanted to do a bear paw design for a long time, and at the same time something colorful and fun. This was the end result.
What are you most proud of?
I like the color combination, and most [not all] of the points aligned perfectly. I also feel my quilting works well. I was able to sew straight lines that matched up with the points almost perfectly - not an easy thing to do for me!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Just choose your favorite colors, and cut and sew carefully so all the points line up. Have patience and perseverence. I had to rip seams a few times to get the points and edges to line up and still had a few that were beyond repair due to small seam allowances. Grrrr!!! I repeat, cut carefully, and sew carefully.
