What was your inspiration?

Making scatter cushions for my daughter for Christmas.
I found a selection of cushion on a tutorial by Moda Baker Shop: Cushion Couture and I really liked the Rail Fence pattern.

What are you most proud of?

I am very pleased with my quilting and how the cushion turned out. This was the first time I put a zip in, but not as good as I had hoped ... need practise for sure!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Look up the tutorial by Moda Baker Shop: Cushion Couture which have several patterns for cushions which are lovely if you want ideas for cushions.

My daughter was very chuffed with it and especially as the back had a pattern too and that is why I had to put a zip in, I usually go for the envelope opening... much handier!
