What was your inspiration?
I have worked as a textile designer in the fashion industry and have a collection of fair isle patterns from that time. I also like to research traditional forms of knitting.
The colour palette was inspired by a retro interior shot in a home decoration magazine.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud that people out there want to knit my scarf design too!!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you are unsure of how to knit with two different colours in the one row, watch some youtube tutorials or get a nice person from your local yarn shop to give you a demonstration. It is easy once you get the hang of it, is quite meditative and it opens up a whole new world of knitting!
