Cotton squares of left over fabrics

What was your inspiration?

To use up some left over fabrics from other projects

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Three layers of fabric cut into 6inch squares- sew 20mm seams all facing the front of the quilt when assembles snip the fabric to the seam lines being careful not to cut stitching, when all clipped was the quilt and dry in the tumble dryer this will fluff up the cut edges.

This is so nice. I have buckets of fabric that could make this kind of quilt. I just never do it.

What a fun way to use all those scraps up and with each washing the quilt gets better and better. Lovely and textural.

this one is all 100% cotton fabrics, I have also made these with 3 layers of flanalette as well.

what fabric did you use for the back? And what fabric is the squares?
