These are my first 2 rag quilts ever and I had so much fun making them. I have fabric piled up to make MORE! I saw one and watched an online video them tweeked the instructions to suit me.

What are the directions for sewing each row together?

Think of it like sandwich...front fabric, batting in the middle, and back fabric all pinned together then sew an "X" through the middle from corner to corner. There a lot of videos on line that will give you complete instructions. Very basic but still takes a while to lay out the pattern you want on the front & back then the rest is all sew, sew, sew.

after you sew the single squares together then you take all the ones for the first row and sew them together side by side to make the top row. Then you do the same with the second row then sew it to the first. Sew all the ones for the third row then sew it to the second and on and on for the length of your quilt. Did you look at any of the online videos? They are more helpful than trying to read any directions. Good Luck!!
