What materials did you use?
Three Layer Cake packs or 60 10inx10in squares plus 30 10x10 in squares of batting.
Is this made with cotton or flannel?
This is lovely....what kind of stitch is used? I'm assuming it's by hand.. I started one going on 16 yrs ago...teaching my 4 and 5 grandaughters the hand work..they were doing so well....Then the wreck happened, robbing all of us future quilting...then about 4 yrs later, my house burned, taking with it some fabrics I'd had forever....then I lost my grandaughters and no longer could take them under my disabled wing...I hope someone in their new lives were able to pick up the needle and thread, teaching them the arts that seem to be dying....just like myself..

So sorry for your tragedies. Perhaps you could purchase material and make one to donate to a worthy cause in memory of your precious grandchildren. I hope you find comfort and sunny days ahead.
I am so sorry for the tragic situations you have suffered. Maybe it would be good to pick up some fabric and start one so you could donate to a worthwhile charity (there are many -- kids with cancer, senior homes, donation for basket raffle for someone in need, etc.). We also make them for our local hospitals. It would probably be very good therapy for you. Prayers.
I made one using an ulgy flannel for the batting, a great way to use fabric you will not use for anything else. It turned out great, nice and warm for here in Canada.
Some one can tell me how I can order ...Quilting Quickly with jenny Doan tome1 and 2 thank you in advace.:)
