What are you most proud of? I am most proud of the appliques I made... They were a lot of work but I'm very happy how they turned out! It is a new technique for me...but I really like how it looks!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Even though I still have to sew the little 4 1/2 " squares together, I can review the course as many times as I want ...that is a great help when you are learning a new hobby/craft! I forgot to mention under the list of materials that I used ...I chose a denim needle for my sewing machine & I used denim thread...it worked out well, and I had no problems going through all the thick layers!

LOVE! Hoping to make a denim quilt this year with all the jeans I've saved from my boys :)

Oh how cute is this. Charlie is one lucky dog. What do you have planned for Lacey?

Oh my.... now this is just the cutest little quilt and perfect for your gorgeous dog. I want to make a quilt for my daughter's staffie and I may just copy this, would you mind? LOVE this so much and the applique too. I have just made some Christmas sacks for my grandkids using applique and am now hooked.
