What materials did you use? Various cotton quilting fabrics for top and backing, mid-loft polyester batting, different colored threads

What are you most proud of? Two things... My points are 97% accurate, which is awesome for me! and then, I FMQ-stitched in the ditch the small paws. I'm improving on straight line FMQ, and was able to control the quilt better. I only veered a couple of times, and only one time was it so bad I had to rip seams, the others, I let them go. After washing, I can't tell where the oopsies were!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? As you can tell, I'm not really one for symmetry or "convention", so go out, do some designing on the diagonal and off center, and as always, have fun, enjoy what you do, and your final product will reflect this.

Don't you hate when people just randomly ask, "Can I have a quilt?" Rafa asked me, nicely, so I said I would make him his own, if he bought the materials. He's a cat person, so I decided to include his three little babies on here. He loves a bear paw, so... duh! He mostly chose the colors and I worked on the design. The backing is my own creation. His name and his three kitties are represented. The leaves for the background seemed an obvious choice, and inspiration is courtesy of the Inbox Jaunt blog, via Wazoo Sue on here [Thanks for posting your awesome creation, Sue!!] Okay, enouh talking. I'll shut up now.
