Radiant Star

For my Cousin Dianne

For my Cousin Dianne

Instructions

Used book by Elenor Burns. I am also going to make one from Kimberly Einmo's class. Hopefully I won't have to RIPPIT as much second time around. I had to really slow down and pay attention to what I was doing. I am really learning a lot from the Craftsy Classes.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Other

Style: Traditional, Classic

What was your inspiration?

Watching how easy Kimberly Enimo made it look. I had wanted to do this one for a long time but too chicken till I purchased Kimberly's class. Thank you Kimberly.

What are you most proud of?

THE POINTS!!!!!!!! I didn't cut them off. Well I did make a bobble on one which turned out to be an easy fix. :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Slow down, take your time, and REALLY STUDY the instructions. Sure made a difference for me.

I like this! It's most definitely radiant. The color blends and contrasts are wonderful.

Thonk you so much. You just don't know how worried I was about the color blending thing. I'm not good at it at all.

Really well done, great color combination. I love lone stars. Haven't made a Lone Star quilt in a while... hmmm, might be time to give it another go! You have made me excited about this pattern again, yours looks so good.
