What materials did you use? This is a fabric printed with cars, roads, and scenes. I used warm and Natural batting and did free motion using monfilament in both the top and bobbin thread.

What are you most proud of? 1.) That I finished it! 2.) I have never done a free motion before; and while it isn't perfect, it is pretty darn good.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's fun but can't be done in a hurry.

This is a fun way to practice machine quilting stitches and a particular child sure will have fun with the finished roadway... thanks for sharing!

where did you get the material for the race track

I got it at a local quilt shop, but I have not seen it in a while. If you are interested you might do a search for "race track fabric."
