A gift for my sister's daughter, combining her love of blue gingham and rabbits.

I think the rabbits turned out really cute.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read my Counterchange How-To first and practice a bit. The rabbits are a good second project!

I *love* counterchange - it's so much fun to make a picture pop out of plain gingham or stripes! Using less fabric than traditional smocking, only one stitch and no pleating means it's also a good place for beginners to start. I'd love to see what you're working on!
