Used 2 microwave food dyed Regia Sock yarns of 100 g each to knit up the Skywalker shawl. The yarn dyed into gradated colour and was knitted from the centre of the ball so that the gradation went from light to dark. Was inspired to use more than one colour by the many gorgeous shawls made by the Craftsy Students in this class. I talk about my experience in this class and the knitting with beads class by Laura Nelkin in my video journal ( episode 11 ).

Wow! That looks like a Rose Window. Gorgeous. Just food dye? Very vibrant colours, considering.

Hi Heather, I agree with you. Love the skywalker shawl pattern by Laura. Easy to knit up and fun to wear. Yes, I am amazed at the colour you can get from food dye. If you want to see the actual dyed skeins, check out Episode 6 on Socks where I talk about my microwave dyeing.
