Quilting and binding done! Whew! OK... so it took almost two years to do a one-year project. I love it! I also love that I can go back to certain months to check out the instructions for a specific technique to refresh my memory and apply what I've learned to a different project!

Your quilt is gorgeous!! I'm delighted to see your fabric selections - I've just signed up for this class and of course the fabrics used on the videos (as far as I can determine) are no longer available. I've been wondering what I might choose as a substitute.

Hi Lynda, welcome to the club, I just signed up at the end of March for this course too. As for the fabric being the same as Amy's, take a look through the gallery and you will see tons of inspiration, beautiful combinations of both colour and fabrics that aren't in the lessons. Some you might love and some you might not, but you'll get loads of ideas. I wanted to learn how to patchwork and quilt but I think a lot of experienced quilters take these BoM courses so there are always very helpful 'students' who are generous with advice and answers to problems. Anyway, Good Luck and I look forward to seeing your completed blocks.

Thanks for the kind words, Lynda. As you can tell, I didn't use Amy's fabrics, either. Just use fabrics and colors you love, and the quilt will be "yours." Have fun! I loved this class!

Your color choices are great! Congratulations on completion! did you quilt it as one large quilt? I just completed my quilt this month too. It was a fantastic tutorial. So many different opportunities to learn new techniques and improve the ones I thought I already knew!

Yes, I quilted it as one large quilt. It was a great class! Now I'm following Amy Gibson on her blog, and in the Sugar Block Club. What fun!
