What materials did you use? This project was made using flannel (quilt backing) material and elastic.

What are you most proud of? Making a multifunctional quilting tool. In addition to helping me arrange my quilting pieces, it makes a nice display board (personalized with my name) for my finished quilting block or blocks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? No matter the size of your board, add 2" to all sides, which allows 1" for casing and ensure your cover fits at least 1" firmly over all sides of your board.

I always wandering what size is best for the board. As I have bought my mat think 14 x 25 inches is great. Now I am sure the bigger - the better.

Great point, I have seen some large and small quilting boards. I think the size would depend on your space and your quilting needs. For me, I needed a lightweight board making it easy to move and to accommodate the space near my sewing station. As luck would have it, the 22 x 28 board was a perfect fit.
