What materials did you use? Cottons. Have decided to use Madeira Black Pearl,as I couldn't see where I had been using Plain Black

What are you most proud of? The fact that I am getting better at this, and so enjoying it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Listen to Leah! I could have stripped out loads of stitching from many blocks. In fact there is only One that I felt that I really HAD to strip. Most could be better, but ..... WOW, this if fun, and the next Will be better

Your color choices and the white on black background are just awesome! It has so much spatial depth!

Lovely! Especially your lovely multi-coloured paper-pieced block! Your FMQ is amazing!

Thank you! I am really enjoying the FMQ now - as much as the piecing. How are you doingenjoying the 2013 BOM?

05/31/2013 Flag

I'm afraid I haven't started it yet. Not sure if I'm all that enamoured of it, but it would be a useful exercise in learning different techniques - the 2012 one certrainly taught me a huge amount. As I didn't start the 2012 BOM until October, I think there's no hurry to get the 2013 one underway!
