What materials did you use? Quilting cotton, batting, thread, PUL lining, zip, overlocker

What are you most proud of? The free-motion stippling around all the eyeballs - you can't really see it, but as my husband said, "It makes a really interesting texture".

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use the thinnest batting you can find, then quilt it densely for stiffness - the overlocker really hated the thickness of all these layers (and it's just a thin cotton batting).

Looking forward to making one of these

The quilting around the eyeballs looks great! Sorry you had some tension issues- I'd replace the needles, and then loosen all the tensions. When you serge on a scrap of the quilted batting, you can can tighten all of them until it's just tight enough. I like the bag though!
