What materials did you use? Cotton broadcloth and machine embroidery thread

What are you most proud of? That the mistakes do not show so I can bravely tackle a new challenge.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Practice on paper. Also I put a small version of the flap design on the inside pocket as a test piece. Pocket above did not turn out well so I adjusted on the final flap.

Julie, you have created 3 fabulous quilting designs in these purses. I love making purses also and with my longarm it is so much fun to quilt them. Would you mind sharing the pattern and any other tips that you leaned in quilting and constructing the purses?

See attached photo for template. This is your canvas. The flap is 11.75" wide and 11" long- the top 3.5" are for top fold and attaching. That leaves 7.5 for the flap motif. Strap was 54" long for messenger style wear. Good luck.
